What is strategic land promotion?

Land promotion (also known as strategic land promotion) is a collaboration between land promoter (Pland) and land owner. Legal title remains with the owner whilst the promoter develops a campaign or ‘promotion’ that highlights the benefits of developing the land. This promotion is targeted at the Local Planning Authority, Town and Parish Councils and all other interested parties or decision makers. When the planning system has been successfully navigated and a planning permission achieved, the promoter will encourage housebuilders to submit offers via a transparent open market process. Will it cost me anything to achieve planning permission?

The land promoter funds all legal fees, planning and sales costs at risk. When the site is sold, Pland receives a pre-agreed minority percentage for managing and funding the project.
